Volunteer Program Information

All Force SC Families, with players ages U9-U18, participating in Force SC Summer Traveling Soccer are required to complete 3 volunteer credits per player in order to fulfill their volunteer commitment. Volunteer positions will be listed as 1.5 or 3 full credits depending on the position. Note: You may need to volunteer for two positions to earn 3 full credits.

The above Volunteer Commitment Form with a $200 deposit check, made out to Force Soccer Club, is required for each U9-U18 player and is to be provided to your manager prior to player passes being released. Player passes will be held until the player’s volunteer check is received.  Note: There is a family maximum of 6 credits / $400.

All volunteer time must be completed by July 15th. If you have not completed your volunteer time by end of season, your check will be cashed the first week of August.

Force Soccer Club uses the Dibs system to manage all volunteer hours. A Dibs Volunteer account is setup automatically for each family as part of the registration process for the summer traveling soccer season.

Volunteer activities are added to Dibs when they become available.  Volunteer hours are claimed via the Dibs tab on the menu bar of the Force website.

Questions regarding Dibs account activity and volunteer hours are to be directed to volunteers@forcesc.org

SPRING KICKOFF Tournament Volunteer Information

Force Soccer Club puts on a tournament every year in May. This is the best time to volunteer as we need lots of volunteers to make it a successful event.

Jobs include: Registration, Field Marshall, Concessions, Parking Attendant, Score Collector, Photographer, First Aid, Spirit Wear seller and Clean up.

1. Volunteers need to be flexible. We may need some of the volunteers to do a different task than what they signed up for. We don't want to reassign anyone, but we may need to.

2. First aid volunteers need proper training and be certified (nurse, paramedic, fire fighter, etc), and are to remain available at the HQ tent for their entire shift.

3. Photographer volunteers need to provide all the required equipment themselves.

4. Everyone is to check in at headquarters 15 minutes before their shift begins for instructions.

5. Everyone needs to sign in and out at headquarters to get proper credit for their volunteer hours.

6. Most positions are self explanatory. Below is more information on the Field Marshall position.

Field Marshal - watch over one or two fields to make sure that there are no issues (i.e., obnoxious fans, bad behavior, injuries, etc.).  Field Marshals are the eyes and ears of the field.  Their job is to report any incidents to headquarters so that Tournament Director or a Tournament Committee member can address the situation.  They do not have to address any situation, just report it. Field Marshals also give a game card to the referee and holds it until after the game when the score runner comes around to collect the game cards. They will wear a yellow vest, and will have a binder with game schedule, if anyone has questions regarding field or times of games.
